One of advantages of painting a course plan as opposed to using a photo is that I can decide how the course should look. For me the sandbelt is at its best in summer. Burnt off roughs with some sand and heathland plants, contrasting with the lush green fairways. The original piece sits in their clubhouse at Black Rock.
