6th @ Pine Valley

I was lucky enough to play Pine Valley back in 2012 and yes….its every bit as good as people say it is.  A wonderful experience, brilliant greens, visually stunning, great strategies and without doubt a tough test; especially off the new back set of tees.

One of the great visuals at PV are the numerous (and large) sandy wastes between the tees and the start of the fairway and one of the most dramatic comes at the 6th.  With large Pines lining the tee shot morning and afternoon creates some wonderful shadows across the waste and I wanted to make this a feature of the painting.
