Royal Queensland

Much like the Grange the red / orange sands of Royal Queensland creates a unique feature and an obvious difference from say playing in Melbourne on the grey sands of the sand belt.  

There is always a balancing act with knowing how many (or how few) distances to include on a course guide.  I don’t like too many as it makes every page too cluttered and with the course already featuring distances on sprinklers I preferred to add measurements to bunkers or key features so the two would complement one another.  

With many fairway bunkers in play the run out and carry distances are important, as are the greens, which are some of our (OCCM) wildest to date.
