Kingston Heath

Around 2010 I had started experimenting with watercolors and this was my first guide using the medium.  The vegetation isn’t as refined as the artwork I do these days but I was pleased with the overall effect and with the club is now on its 5th reprint and have become a popular keepsake for many first time visitors.  

I was especially pleased with the green drawings – a key part of the course guides.  I’m often asked why I don’t measure to the middle of the greens but for good players the front is a much more valuable number.  Particularly on the firm fast greens of the heath.
