I learnt a lot of about producing course guides on this first project. Dealing with clients, pricing and most importantly how to reproduce the drawings and paintings into a readable format.
The stipple style works well to suggest rough and helps highlight features of note while the grey-lead streaks, which are a feature of most of my hole renderings, help indicate slope.
The trickiest thing about this project was that there were no plans of the finished course. No google earth aerials just the original routing Tom had done a few years prior. Given the course had changed a lot through construction the sketches had to be done out in the field.
